**The IIE Varsity College, Westville Campus has a vacancy for an Independent Contractor within the School of Education for the below modules**:

- ** Professional Didactics: FET Mathematics (FDMA7111p)**:

- ** Professional Didactics: SP Mathematics (SPMA7111p)**

**Competencies required**:

- Excellent Communication Skills
- Effective Classroom Management
- Excellent Presentation Skills
- Assertiveness and dynamism
- Understanding of customer service in education
- Demonstrate an ability to manage work and self proactively

**Minimum Education Requirements**:

- A minimum of a B.Ed. Honour's degree or Postgraduate Diploma in Education (at NQF level 8) **or **Humanities/Arts/Sciences/Social Sciences Honours degree

**And**:

- The undergraduate or postgraduate qualification must include a module in Teaching and Learning/Pedagogy

**And**:
**Minimum Experience Required**:

- Ideally, lecturing experience at tertiary level.

**Working Conditions**:

- Please note that this is an Independent Contractor role.
- Please note that positions are part-time, with lectures taking place between 17:00pm and 20:00pm.
