Building Foreman

A Gillitts based business in the construction sector, has a vacancy for a Building Foreman in the North Coast

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

- Overseeing, scheduling, and arranging crew work daily, cooperating with other team members as necessary
- Reviewing all project activities, work equipment and sites every day to make sure everything is performed to company standards as well as to the latest OSHA regulations and standards
- Working with other necessary personnel and supervisors to ensure all site and crew activities are in sync
- Delegating jobs to crew members as determined by their capabilities and the general requirements of specific work projects and site parameters
- Meeting with other managers/supervisors and necessary personnel as required to fully resolve conflicts, complications, and other issues according to company and client standards/requirements
- Training new crew members whenever they join the team and provide workers with continuing education according to the latest industry requirements in order that all work meets the most current specifications
- General site administration including recording of daily attendance on weekly timesheets
- Ordering of materials required on site
- Ensuring site safety files are up to date

- High School (matric) (preferred)
**Experience**:

- In a Similar Position: 3 years (preferred)
