Our client, a leading private day hospital group, is urgently looking for a **Registered Nurse (RN) / Professional Nurse (PN) **with proven**THEATRE SCRUB** **experience. **This is a **permanent opportunity** at a **private facility **in** **Alberton** (Johannesburg South area)** in** Gauteng.**

**Minimum Requirements**:

- Valid SANC licence
- **Proven Theatre Scrub work experience**:

- **Operating Theatre qualification is essential**:

- Knowledge of clinical procedures, relevant nursing legislation, the Scientific Nursing Process and BCA bundles
- Management of surgical equipment and instruments
- Infection prevention and control (IPC) principles and protocols
- Risk Management

**Duties and Responsibilities**:

- Duties and responsibilities according to scope of practice
- Theatre Scrub duties and responsibilities
- Deliver quality nursing care in collaboration with a multi-disciplinary team
- Identify, prevent and manage risks to ensure patient safety
- Facilitate a positive patient experience by creating a conducive environment
- Provide accurate and comprehensive records of all nursing interventions
- Create a learning environment that builds staff competence
- Ensure that all utilised stock and equipment are accurately charged
