Probation period (to become permanent) Sales Assistant in a health Shop, assisting customers (walk in customers) as well as return customers who come for repeat medication as prescribed by the doctor.

Probation period: 2 to 3 days per week, at R+-R400 per day + added commission 10% of sales

After 3 months if suitable: 5 to 6 days per week at an increased daily rate +added commission 10% of sales

With the employees knowledge of complementary and alternative medicine/supplements and/or sales, the employee will drive sales and be remunerated with 10% of all sales made or appointments booked with the doctor.

(Commissions will not including sales made by return customers or customers who saw the doctor and would buy their prescription medication anyway, but on new sales with new walk in customers, or bringing new customers to see the doctor).

**Commission on Sales Example**

Daily sales of R5000 you made, would mean you get R500 extra for the day. (On top of the +-R400 base daily salary) - _This is very possible as daily sales of other sales agents in the shop is between R3000 to R7000 per day._

**Commission - Consults with the Doctor Example**

For bringing brand new customers to consult with the doctor: If you get a new client to see the doctor, you will get R80 for the client booking, and if he prescribes them supplements worth example R3000, you will get R300 of these sales as well since you added a new client to see the doctor.

A period of internship/probation will commence to ensure suitability for the position, after which the base daily salary will increase a minimum of 15% and amount of days per week will be increased to 6 days a week.

Commissions are negotiable based on sales volume.

**Duties include**:
1. Driving Sales

2. Assisting customers with your product knowledge

3. Assisting other staff with stocktake, packing and general duties as a **secondary focus**. (Main focus will be sales)

4. Helping customers at the till to pay for their products

5. Continued education on new products and supplements is crucial

6. Helping floor staff accepting deliveries from suppliers as a **secondary focus**

**7. Daily hours are fully negotiable* (for persons wanting to start part time and still keep their current jobs)**

*Payment will also be adjusted, should you want to work only 2 hours a day, the base daily payment will not be the same as for an 8 hour day, but commissions remain the same at 10%.

We welcome applicants who want to try out the position on weekends to start off with (Sat/Sun). Or on their current off days. Once a week is also a possibility (Only for the probation period.)
