**National Health and Safety Coordination**
- Administration and management of general HSSE queries, redirecting queries to the HSSE team as required
- Support the development and implementation of HSSE policies, strategies, and programs
- Follow up with centres on HSSE inspections and closing out of HSSE audit and incident findings. Filing of relevant documentation
- Assist and advise employees in the completion of HSSE documentation
- Provide HSSE support and guidance to all SBV workplaces as required
- Accurately and timeously capture financial requests and invoices onto the designated SBV system
- Carry out centre HSSE inspections as per request based on standard checklist and present findings and action plans to mitigate risks to HSSE Manager
- Act as a champion in promoting HSSE change

**HSSE Reporting**
- Verify that all templates on BMS are uploaded, current and accurate, escalating and resolving inaccuracies where required
- Report on all findings and action plans derived from the regular inspection of the National HSSE centre repository, following up where required.
- Consolidate monthly/quarterly HSSE performance reports for the HSSE Manager
- Monitor and record HSSE training expiration for management
- Update and consolidate HSSE manual and automated reports nationally as per designated timelines
- Provide regular progress updates to HSSE manager regarding HSSE matters and incidents

**Perform Health and Safety duties at Support Office**
- Act as an appointed:

- 8(2)I Supervisor
- Health and Safety incident investigator
- Risk Assessor
- COVID-19 Supervisor
- Maintain health and safety activities for Support Office in collaboration with the health and safety committee
- Maintain and update Support Office Health and Safety folders
- Assist the Support Office Evacuation Marshal in planning and executing evacuation drills in Support Office
- Facilitate monthly health and safety inspections and checks with first aiders, health and safety representatives and fire marshals for Support Office
- Coordinate Health and Safety aspects for Support Office service providers including the approval of safety file escalating non-conformances as per the DOA

**Effective Stakeholder Engagement**
- Establish and maintain relationships with all third parties, vendors and centres
- Support Facilities in HSSE related matters
- Promote HSSE awareness to all SBV workplaces and activities by meeting with relevant stakeholders

- Act as a change Champion in periods of change to ensure continuity to operations
- 1 year health and safety experience

**Minimum Requirements: Education**
- Grade 12
- NEBOSH/SAMTRAC Certification
- National Diploma Occupational Health and Safety/Environmental Management - NQF level 6: Advantageous
