Power Quality/power Distribution Business

**Responsibilities**:

- Increase service sales in the Power Quality PQ/ Power Distribution PD fields, aligned with Eaton strategy and growth expectations in Southern Africa with a focus on the coastal regions
- Negotiate and finalize maintenance agreements in the base region
- Manage and sell service contracts in Africa ensuring profitable long term service growth in Africa
- Maintain contracted customer relations
- Research, develop and introduce new service offerings to the market
- Offer detailed replacement solutions
- Complete site Audits and subsequently provide comprehensive reports and service solutions
- Compile and manage RSA & Africa customer (and install base) database
- Create strategic pricing policies for service in RSA & Africa and manage price realization
- Communication/presentation of results, strategies, actions to leadership
- Identify and develop strategies for future business growth.
- Sell solutions to support the financial targets of the business.

**Qualifications**:

- 5+ years of experience in the Electrical industry (after sales service experience is preferred)

**Skills**:

- Excellent written & verbal communication skills and ability to communicate across different cultures / geographic regions
- Dynamic and can adapt to change when circumstances require it. Must be able to handle stressful situations
- Experience in contract negotiation, qualification & finalisation will be advantage
- Proven track record of achieving business success and experience in project management
- Strong interpersonal skills
- Ability to operate independently
- Strong ability to interpret common technical catalogues, financial reports, and legal documents such as contracts and partner agreements
- Ability to respond to common enquiries
- Ability to represent Eaton to senior managers externally and internally
- Experience in compiling and presenting performance KPI’s
- Travel required across South Africa / EMEA - 40%.
- Ability to manage and liaise with customer database
- Flexible working times due to time constraints with customers and suppliers
- Appreciate the different cultures in Africa
- Strong Customer Orientation
- Analytical skills
- Attention to detail and ability to be self-directed
- Computer Literacy
- Able to make sound independent decisions
- Team player working in a collaborative environment and ability to work independently
- Excellent organizational, written and oral communication skills
- Driver’s license required
- English language at advanced level is required
