Cape Town, South Africa PPS Group Full time

**Main duties and responsibilities**:

- Introducing the new PPS members to all of the PPS subsidiaries and offerings
- Supporting and servicing the new PPS members for the first 6 months of their journey with PPS
- Ensuring that the new PPS members understand the core of PPS, which is mutuality, and benefits they will derive from being part of this exclusive organisation with specifics to the PPS Profit share accounts
- Ensuring a deep understanding of the current products held by the new PPS members and to drive cross-sell opportunities
- Planning, organising and controlling liaisons with new PPS members with the intention of building a trust relationship and ensure the settling in of new members
- Ensuring new members have all the relevant information and contact details for Claims and Member Services
- Having regular touch points with new members to enhance the onboarding experience.
- Addressing any questions raised and effectively answering them to the members’ satisfaction
- Ensuring continuous improvement of service standards to clients
- Ensuring alignment to Treating Customers Fairly (TCF) in all business practices

**Formal Qualifications**:

- Matric (Grade 12)
- RE5 certification is essential
- A three year or higher Bachelor’s degree or National Diploma in Commerce, Law or Finance - advantageous
- A completed NQF 5 - Wealth Management highly advantageous.
- CFP® professional or currently studying towards a Post Graduate Diploma in Financial Planning is preferred

**Experience and Knowledge**:

- At least 3 years’ experience in the Financial Services or Life Assurance industry in a sales and/or sales related role
- Intermediate knowledge of the Life Assurance or Financial Services industry
- Knowledge (and skill) in how to successfully influence and persuade others by understanding how their individual needs and motivations link to goals is essential

**Computer Literacy**:

- MS Office package, particularly Internet, Outlook and Excel

**Interpersonal and Intrapersonal Skills**:

- Able to relate and connect with customers
- Excellent relationship building skills
