- Valid PSIRA Grade B
- Proficient communication in both English and Afrikaans (verbal and written).
- Administrator level in MS Outlook, Word, Excel.
- CCTV surveillance, Data capturing, Radio control and alarm monitoring required.
- Systems Training: Experience in operating alarm monitoring software, Cathexis CCTV, Bosch Video Management, CiiMs or GV Chase.
- Strong character and able to make decisions with minimum input from management
- Strong interpersonal skills, flexibility, and customer service orientation.
- Attention to detail with a responsible and accountable approach to instructions, procedures, and policies.
- Ability to detect problems and report information to appropriate personnel
- Ability to react calmly and effectively in emergency situations and provide protection services to individuals on campus.
- Skill in performing building security and lock procedures.
- Knowledge of public security codes, policies, and regulations.
- Be willing to work nightshift only.

**PROVEN EXPERIENCE**
- Previous experience working at a Higher Institute would be advantageous
- Minimum 2 Years in a senior or supervisor role, preferably in a control room.
- 2 Years’ experience in a control room that manages and responds to CCTV and alarms.
