Job Title: Senior Data Analyst

Job Summary:
We are seeking a Senior Data Analyst with 8-10 years of experience to join our team in building an information system using an agile delivery approach. The Senior Data Analyst will be responsible for analyzing data and providing reports and insights to the business to support the system's development and implementation.

Key Responsibilities:

- Work closely with stakeholders, including business analysts, project managers, and developers, to understand business requirements and design data solutions that meet those requirements
- Analyze large datasets using statistical techniques to identify patterns, trends, and insights
- Develop and maintain dashboards and reports to communicate data insights to business stakeholders
- Collaborate with developers to ensure data is properly integrated into the system and meets performance and quality standards
- Identify opportunities to improve data quality, accuracy, and completeness
- Develop and maintain data dictionaries, data models, and other documentation to support system development and maintenance
- Work with other team members to ensure project timelines are met and deliverables are of high quality

Qualifications:

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, or related field
- 8-10 years of experience in data analysis and reporting
- Strong analytical skills with experience in statistical analysis, data visualization, and data mining
- Experience with SQL and data warehousing concepts
- Experience with reporting tools such as Power BI, Tableau, or similar
- Strong communication skills with the ability to present complex data insights to non-technical stakeholders
- Experience working in an agile delivery environment
- Knowledge of software development lifecycle methodologies

- Woodmead, Gauteng: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (required)
