HR Generalist

**PURPOSE OF THE ROLE**:
The HR Generalist drives and executes the organisation's human resources by planning and implementing employee relations and human resources policies, programs and practices.

**Key Performance Areas would include, but are not limited to**:

- Provide expert advice and guidance to Managers and Team Leaders on people management, employment and industrial relations matters
- Execute all related recruitment, selection, interviews, reference checks and onboarding of all new employees
- Attend all disciplinary & dispute hearings internally in capacity of HR
- Ensure compliance with all employment and labour law requirements including but not limited to employment contracts, employment equity, workplace health, industrial relations; in respect of terms of registration, documentation, reporting, systems and procedures.
- Train and coach line managers in respect of IR practices
- Facilitate all matters relating to dealings with employee committees.
- Conduct face-to-face exit interviews, investigate and highlight areas for improvement within the business
- Ensure proper HR record keeping in line with good practice and labour legislation

**Qualifications**
- Matric
- B degree in HR / Industrial Relations will be beneficial
- 2/3 years' generalist HR experience is a minimum criterion
- Sound knowledge of BCEA, EE, LRA, WSP, ATR reporting and BBBEE
- Microsoft Office proficient
