**Key Performance Areas (Responsibilities)**
- Manage, implement, maintain, and optimize health, safety, and environmental policies at all branches nationally.
- Carry out regular workplace inspection, as well as internal audits.
- Identify and mitigate workplace health and safety risks.
- Investigate, record and report on workplace injuries.
- Ensure that all branches comply with the health and safety legislation.
- Conduct regular employee in-house training on the OHSA, regulations and SOP’s.
- Conduct safety inductions for new employees, temporary employees, and contractors.
- Responsible for the communication of health, safety, environmental and quality procedures to all branches.
- Manage, implement, and maintain the ISO 9001: 2015 management system at all branches.
- Lead the emergency response team, update emergency plans and procedures and assist with emergency drills.
- Ensure Health and Safety Committee meetings are performed.
- Ensure compliance training are conducted at regular intervals and records thereof are maintained.
- Prepare and implement an annual health, safety, environmental and quality action plan to promote a proactive safety culture and continuous improvement.

- Proven experience in implementing, coordinating, and managing health and safety program within an organization
- Have sound knowledge of the SABS- ISO 9001: 2015 implementation, practices, and processes.
- Have sound knowledge of the SABS- ISO 45001: 2018 implementation, practices, and processes.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Valid unendorsed Driver’s license.
- Must be prepared to travel to branches.
**Minimum qualification and experience**
- Formal Health and Safety Qualification (Diploma or equivalent)
- ISO certification (ISO 9001: 2015 and ISO 45001: 2018)
- 5 years’ experience.
**Remuneration**
- A Market related package is offered.
