Our client is a family owned business focusing on cultivating, packaging, and exporting table grapes and situs in the Hex River Valley.

The services of a unit manager (Export Table Grapes) are required for the production unit near De Doorns, Western Cape.

**Requirements**:

- Energetic, hardworking, self-driven individual with a love for table grapes, supported by a successful record of a minimum of 5 years of relevant practical & technical knowledge regarding the construction of table grapes.
- Good people relations and above average communication skills at all levels.
- Thorough knowledge of the cultivation actions regarding table grapes.
- Computer literate
- An appropriate tertiary qualification in agriculture.
- Thorough knowledge of fertilizing and irrigation practices. Experience in ultra-low flow systems will be beneficial.

Duties
- Under top management, the applicant will be responsible for the independent management of a 55-ha production unit, including all aspects of the settlement, production, labour, warehouse, and quality management.
- Maintenance management and farming administration.
- Disease and pest control
- Fertilizing and irrigation
- Harvesting citrus in the off-season.

**Salary**: R45,000.00 - R55,000.00 per month
