**Project Management Consultant**

**Position Title**: Project Management Consultant
**Duration**: 2 Months
**Location**: Remote
**Reports to**: Project Lead/Head of Programmes

One to One Africa is the South African-registered non-profit organization that works to transform the lives of families, especially children, women, and young people affected by poverty and chronic illness, including HIV. One to One Africa seeks to address core gaps in healthcare, education and psychosocial support in neglected and under-served communities to ensure that families survive and thrive.

We are seeking a highly skilled **Project Management Consultant** to support the development of key project management documents for One to One Africa’s projects and programmes. The consultant will work closely with the Project Lead and other stakeholders to ensure the documentation aligns with project goals, timelines, and organizational standards. This short-term assignment will last for two months, during which the consultant will be responsible for creating and finalizing critical project management deliverables.

**Key Responsibilities**
- **Develop Project Management Documents**:

- Draft, review, and finalize key project management documents, including but not limited to:

- Project Charter
- Work Breakdown Structure (WBS)
- Project Schedule (Gantt charts, timelines)
- Scope Management Plan
- Quality Management Plan
- Risk Management Plan
- Communication Plan
- Change Management Plan
- Resources Management Plan
- Budget and Resource Allocation Plan
- **Collaborate with Stakeholders**:

- Engage with project stakeholders (internal teams, Department of Health representatives, and community partners) to gather insights and data required for project documentation.
- Facilitate meetings or workshops to ensure alignment on project goals, objectives, and deliverables.
- **Project Scope and Objectives**:

- Work with the Project Lead to ensure that the project scope and objectives are clearly defined, documented, and agreed upon by all parties.
- Assist in identifying potential risks and challenges, and provide mitigation strategies in the Risk Management Plan.
- **Project Timeline and Scheduling**:

- Develop a comprehensive project timeline, with key milestones and deadlines, ensuring that all phases of the Enable Project are properly tracked and executed.
- **Compliance with Best Practices**:

- Ensure that all project documents adhere to best practices in project management and are aligned with organizational policies and the donor’s requirements.
- **Reporting and Updates**:

- Provide regular updates to the Project Lead on the progress of document development.
- Prepare a final report summarizing the consultancy work, highlighting achievements, challenges, and recommendations for future project phases.

**Qualifications and Experience**
- Bachelor’s degree in Project Management, Business Administration, or a related field (Master’s degree preferred).
- PMP or PRINCE2 certification is highly desirable.
- A minimum of 5 years of experience in project management, with a strong track record in developing project documentation.
- Experience in the health, development, or non-profit sector is highly advantageous.
- Strong understanding of project management methodologies and frameworks.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.

- **Attention to Detail**: A meticulous approach to ensuring accuracy and completeness in all project documentation.
