The Department of Computer Science has initiated strong Research and Postgraduate Programmes in the fields of the Fourth Industrial Revolution (4IR). These include: 1) Internet-of-Things (IoT): Static, Mobile and Airborne IoT networks; 2) Data Science: Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, and Big Data Analytics; 3) Data Engineering: Cloud/Fog Computing, High Performance Computing (HPC) and Big Data Technologies; 4) Immersive Technologies: Augmented Reality (AR), Virtual Reality (VR) and Mixed Reality (MR) 5) Knowledge Representation: ontology Engineering, and 6) Cybersecurity: Cybersecurity Policies, Cybersecurity Protocols, Cybersecurity Platforms and Cybersecurity Architectures.

**Minimum Requirements**

A minimum of 70% for the Master’s Degree in Computer Science.

Prior experience in an academic role (e.g. as Lecturer/Tutor/Research Assistant etc).

Practical work experience in a Computer Science/Information Technology role.

**Competence in at least two of the following fields**:

- Immersive Technologies
- Big Data Systems
- Cloud and Fog Computing
- High Performance Computing
- Robotics-
