Management of Quality Controllers and CCP Champions.
- Help the unit to achieve set out goals and objectives proclaimed by head office and customers.
- Assist in preparing for internal audits.
- Assist in the preparation for all external audits, including client audits.
- Assist in implementing new requirements as identified by QHSE Manager
- Assist in ISO 9001 & 22000 certification process.
- Assist departments in any quality, food safety, and hygiene-related non-conformances.
- Assist in the Management of pest control program.
- Assist in maintaining minimum stock levels of chemical and first aid material.
- Ensure that FIFO and FEFO practices are followed within the facility.
- Oversee all quality checks (Supplier product analysis, fridge checks, specification adherence checks, portion controls, trolley checks).
- Validate GMP compliance through surface, environment, and hand swabbing and food sampling as set out by internal procedures.
- Assure compliance to customer requirements for food sampling.
- Monitor and control of effectiveness of glass and foreign object policies and procedures.
- Must be leading the QHSE department as first aider and fire fighter
- Preparation of staff roster (QC) and duties.
- Be prepared for any shift allocated to you that falls within reason.
- Ensure that company assets are correctly used and wastage is kept to a minimum.
- Be always vigilant for breaches of security and respond swiftly and decisively where they occur.
- Staff Management - must be able to effectively lead the team directly under your supervision
- Assist in monitor overall compliance to HACCP system, QMS, HSE and CSR requirements update all information
- Undertake planned, HACCP, H&S and Environmental inspections
- Assist in regular and timely review of HACCP system and procedures.
- Full internal and external audit preparation and planning in conjunction with department heads and QHSE Manager
- Assist in arranging Management review meetings on Food Safety and Quality in accordance with ISO 9001 and ISO 22000 requirements
- Must conduct regular meetings with your team and oversee the progress of KPIs and other Quality indicators;
- Assist actively in maintaining the ISO 9001 and ISO 22000 processes
- Assist in reviewing allergen declarations for customers
- Any other reasonable task that may be required by management

Authority Levels
- Take Disciplinary Action against any employee who is non-compliant with any required procedure.

**Qualifications**:

- Grade 12.
- B Degree in Food Technology or otherwise related to industry.
- Basic Knowledge of ISO 9001 & ISO 22000.
- Full Competent in Microsoft Office.

Experience
- 3 Years’ Experience.
