**Roles and responsibilities**:
Acquire and maintain an up-to-date understanding of the BCW/BA/BCom programs, participating in onboarding processes and staff training sessions.
Develop an advanced understanding of the theoretical and practical aspects of creative writing disciplines.
Conduct research to develop up-to-date lesson plans and lecture content.
Deliver lectures according to timetabled sessions and provide consultations.
Liaise with industry professionals as needed.
Ensure students understand assignments, assessments, and deadlines, guiding them through the term's deliverables.
Participate in quality assurance and enhancement practices.
Attend required marketing activities, consultations, and festivals.
Mentor and supervise students in their writing processes, ensuring project readiness for Afda festivals.
Host table readings and workshops to provide critical feedback to students.

Deliver lectures in creative writing disciplines.

Conduct student consultations and reflective meetings.
Prepare content and lesson plans for each term.

Minimum 10 years of experience in the film and entertainment industry.
Established work experience in tertiary education.
**Minimum qualification**: BA honors in creative writing, English, or equivalent field, preferably a master’s degree.
Experience in tertiary education or training and development is beneficial.
