Mascor: Sales Manager

Mascor is a Company consisting of franchised Automotive, agricultural mechanisation and fuel. With more than 50 years in the industry, we offer prestige brands such as John Deere, Toyota and Warath while our highly skilled staff provides professional and high-quality service and standards of workmanship.
Mascor is currently looking for a Sales Manager in their used tractor division to ensure that the correct trade prices are given, reconditioning cost and timelines are efficient, effective marketing and annual unit and gross profits are achieved.

**REQUIREMENTS**:
a. MANAGEMENT

i. Manage and control working capital within limits and time cycles.

ii. Excert good communication, negotiation, and technical skills

iii. Ensure the department’s compliance with policies and procedures

iv. Ensure department profits, return on assets, costs and margins meet budget

v. Ensure that required daily reports are sent through to the Head office correctly and timeously.

vi. Action the monthly matrix report and send through to the Head office

vii. Ensure physical stock placement at required branches.

b. SALES

i. Ensure all sales marketing programmes are executed

ii. Lead conversion

iii. Meet budgeted unit and sales target

iv. Execute and manage enquires and leads

v. Develop and maintain additional external channels

vi. Manage sales cycle to delivery and aftersales or lost sales analysis

c. CUSTOMER SATISFACTION

i. Attend to customer enquiries timeously and accurately

ii. Ensure accurate trade and retail pricing

iii. Ensure all equipment are completely saleable.

d. HOUSEKEEPING AND SAFETY

i. Ensure that department is neat, tidy and includes marketing displays.

ii. Ensure that equipment is well displayed

iii. Ensure that communications are done timeously

iv. Ensure compliance with all laws and regulations including OHS and franchise requirements.

**REQUIREMENTS**:
a. Qualifications:
i. Min: 3-year experience in Agricultural Sales

ii. Ideal: Bachelors in Marketing/Sales

c. Experience:
i. 3-year experience in Agricultural

Sales

i. Above average command of English and Afrikaans

ii. Strong business acumen

iii. Strong people skills

iv. Strong interpersonal, communication and customer service skills

v. Proven sales experience

vi. Well-versed in the Agricultural machinery market

vii. Ability to manage reconditioning costs

viii. Well-versed with different media options and developments
