**Introduction**

This position will based at the Phola Plant close to Ogies in Mpumalanga.

**Description**

The purpose of this position is to undertake business improvement projects, analysis, monitoring and reporting in order to progress and deliver significant value improvement opportunities across the site.

**Duties and Responsibilities**
- Deliver business improvement processes, analysis and capabilities including sound controls across the site, and BI project management
Facilitate the development of clear business improvement project definitions that clarify the focus and results necessary for success
- Identify, recommend and deliver business improvements that support a step change in performance across the site
- Support synergies across business improvement activities through knowledge transfer of best practice and supporting collaboration within the site
- Provide quality technical advice to the site as required, including input to major plans and proposals
- Develop a constructive working relationship with the client, operational, project and support staff in order for BI activities to be aligned and supported
- Educate management and employees in the use of problem-solving tools and techniques
- Proactively integrate sound project management principles and problem-solving tools and techniques to realise increased efficiency and cost savings
- Review and implement Management Operating Systems throughout the site
- Support value-based decision making, and provide training
- Effectively communicate with and engage the workforce to realise opportunities and goals

**Qualification Requirements**
- Relevant Bachelor’s Degree in a Science, Engineering or related discipline, but preferably in Industrial Engineering

**Experience and Skills Requirements**
- A minimum of 5 years post graduate experience in a similar Business Improvement role in the mining or mineral processing industry with some experience in a leadership role
- Business improvement project management and analytical skills
- Data analytics experience including the use of BI tools
- Excellent influencing and coaching skills
- Excellent understanding of mineral processing and asset management
- Communication and leadership skills
- Ability to drive change
- Collaboration skills with the ability to reach out across the business to enlist support from a range of stakeholders to deliver value
- Complex problem solving and critical thinking skills
