**Job Opportunity: Solid Wood Joinery**

We are seeking a skilled Solid Wood Joinery Craftsman to join our team. If you have a passion for woodworking and a knack for creating high-quality solid wood furniture, cabinetry, and other wood-based structures, we'd love to hear from you.

**Responsibilities**:

- Design, build, and assemble solid wood projects, including furniture, cabinetry, doors, and other wooden components.
- Use traditional and modern joinery techniques such as mortise and tenon, dovetail, lap joints, and pocket screws.
- Operate woodworking tools and machinery, including saws, routers, and sanders.
- Ensure high-quality craftsmanship in all projects, paying close attention to detail.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure projects are completed on time and meet customer specifications.
- Maintain a clean and organized workshop, following safety protocols.
- Proven experience in solid wood joinery or woodworking.
- Proficiency in using woodworking tools and machinery.
- Strong understanding of traditional and modern joinery techniques.
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and plans.
- Excellent attention to detail and craftsmanship.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
- Knowledge of safety regulations in a woodworking environment.

**Qualifications and Requirements**:

- At least 3 - 4 years of experience in a manufacturing industry
- Reside in Parow or nearby.
- Working hours (Monday to Thursday) 07:30 - 16:30, Fridays 07:30 - 14:15 (this might change based on company discretion.
- Criminal Clear record
- Qualification in woodwork will be an added advantage
