Junior Storeman

An Electrical Switchgear agent based in Durban is currently seeking a Junior Storeman with a background in the electrical field.

**Job Purpose**:
Responsible for ensuring that goods received into and sent out from the Company are in good condition and correspond with the correct paperwork. Ensures accurate stock records and deliveries dispatched timeously.

**Duties & Responsibilities**:

- Warehouse activities (ensure no financial impact on the company by ensuring 100% accuracy)
- Participating in stock counts.
- Housekeeping and maintaining a high standard in the work area.
- Ensure correct documentation affixed to orders
- Assisting with operational activities as required.
- Taking responsibility in reporting all breakages, negligence, and damages to the company.
- Ad-hoc duties

**Key Competencies**:

- Willingness to learn and be a team player.
- Must be able to read English proficiently.
- Electrical Experience and knowledge are a bonus.
- Excellent communication and Telephonic Skills
- Works well under pressure.
- Experience within a cargo handling environment.

**Minimum Requirements**:

- Grade 12 with exemption pass
- Proficient in reading and writing in English.
- Computer literate with Microsoft Office skills is a bonus.
- Warehousing experience.
