Migration Reconcilliator

**Main purpose of the job**:

- To maintain accurate and consistent residency and membership data in order to avoid duplicate count of households or individuals who migrate or hold multiple household membership status

**Location**:

- **Parktown
- Johannesburg**

**Key performance areas**:

- In the data gathered:

- Ensure there are no duplicate individuals and households
- Ensure there are no hanging status observations
- Ensure every child is correctly linked to their biological mother
- Ensure all study procedures are ethically performed
- Participate in regular and ad hoc training and meetings for data collection
- Perform any other office-based special tasks assigned from time to time

**Required minimum education and training**:

- **Grade 12 or Degree**

**Required minimum work experience**:

- **Minimum of 2 years experience in surveillance data collection**

**Desirable additional education, work experience, and personal abilities**:

- Ability to work in an interdisciplinary team.
- Able to effectively plan and organize work, manage multiple priorities, and accomplish goals in a timely manner.
- Excellent interpersonal skills.
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills.
- Able to manage cultural diversity.
- Knowledge of quantitative research data collection methods.
- Able to understand project operations, including project planning and ethical research.
