**Electronic Components**

**Purpose of Role**

Responsible for assembly, integration and testing of products on the assembly line, in order to meet volume targets with zero defects.

**Education Requirements**:

- National **Diploma** in Electrical Engineering or equivalent electrical qualification
- IPC Certified or Trained

**Qualifications and Experience Required**
- Electronic printed circuit board repair.
- Populate Surface mount and through-hole devices.
- Use of all bench repair equipment.
- Use of all bench test equipment.
- Understand and read schematic drawings.
- Understand and read Assembly drawings.
- Follow up on orders and shipments to ensure delivery on time.
- Incoming Goods inspections and quality checks.
- Assist with monthly Stock takes.
- Kitting - Supplying the factory with the necessary components for a production run
- Warehouse management, organise and arrange stock at the office.
- Assist with general office maintenance when needed.
- Electronic Repair equipment (Soldering, desoldering, SMD).
- Programming of printed circuit boards and Microcontrollers.
- Integration of products into housings (assist on assembly line at factory)

**Key Skills Required**
- Intermediate level Word and Excel skills
- Excellent English Written and Verbal communication skills
- Professional, friendly manner
- Good knowledge of various electronic components
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Know all your components and functions.
- Power Supplies.
- IPC Certified/Trained
- PC Literate in Word, Chrome, Excel, Windows.
- Able to work efficiently, neatly and handle a high stress environment.
- Work unsupervised on an efficiency basis.
- Work unsupervised and able to logically solve unforeseen problems

**Key Areas of Responsibility**
- Basic to complex assembly and soldering using keen eyesight
- Ensuring the highest level of housekeeping at all times
- Submitting improvement suggestions
- Follow work instructions and standards
- Reads work orders, follows production drawings and sample assemblies
- Positions and aligns parts in specified relationship to each other in jig, fixture or other holding devices
- Construction, integration, and test of Assembled Units
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Follow all prescribed and standard SAFETY regulations

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

**Salary**: R10,000.00 - R15,000.00 per month

**Education**:

- Diploma (preferred)

**Experience**:

- Assembly Line: 1 year (preferred)
- Solderer: 1 year (preferred)

License/Certification:

- IPC2 certification (preferred)
