Electrician

We are one of the top lighting studios in the country and require the services of a young technical-minded individual willing to work on-site and in-house in our workshop.

You will mainly form part of the technical division called Luxeline.

This division is responsible for researching and testing the latest in lighting technology with a strong focus on LEDs. Luxeline is the official LED supplier to our parent company One to One.

You must be able to handle pressure as this is a fast-growing company. There will be plenty to learn in a short time.

There is a strong focus on teamwork in the company but you will also be expected to perform certain tasks without constant supervision.

An interest in electronics is important.

Skills and duties (but not limited to):
LED strip light assembly (on-site and in-house)

Competent with basic power/hand tools

Occasional driving duties (valid driver's license a must)

Help with creating data sheets and assist other electricians on site with various types of light fittings.

Must have the willingness to learn new skills and assist with innovation within the division and company.

Experience in working with LEDs and working on building sites is needed.

Administrative skills required:
Knowledge of excel is very valuable

Assist with stocktaking

Assist with prepping stock for delivery

Assist in the workshop where required

Assist with processing orders and ordering stock
