**Duties**:

- Report to the person in charge of the service.
- Provide comprehensive, promotive, preventative, curative and rehabilitative primary healthcare services to students.
- Offer on-going educational training and developmental talks and seminars to students.
- Perform physical examination to staff and students.
- Offer emergency services to staff and students.
- Offer basic life support to students.
- Conducting health surveillance tests, such as, weight, height, and BMI testing, blood pressure monitoring, cholesterol, and urine testing.
- Performs HIV testing and counselling.
- The diagnosing of any physical defect, illness, or deficiency in any person.
- The keeping of prescribed medicines and the supply, control, administering, or prescribing thereof on the prescribed conditions in line with the Standard Treatment Guidelines and Essential Medicine List (STG EML).
- Assist in monitoring and evaluating the Health and Wellness programme
- Assist the Health and Wellness staff to promote various health campaigns and projects.
- Assist Health and Wellness staff to disseminate information.
- Provide accurate written, electronic, and verbal reports.
- Patient record keeping.
- General patient care while the patients are undergoing medical assessments.
- Management of equipment, ensuring that calibrations and services are performed on a regular basis.
- Draft, implement, and revision of procedures and processes to ensure that best practices are implemented.
- Plan work in an efficient and effective order, maximizing progress in a safe and timely manner, and general management of ongoing jobs, including staff, stock and equipment.
- General administration related to operations.
- Engage in community outreach projects.
- Develop and implement Quality Management Standards.
- Implement waste management and stock control management standards.
- Implement Hygiene standards in the workplace
- Implement maintenance and calibration of equipment

- Witbank, Mpumalanga: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (required)

License/Certification:

- South African Nursing Council registration (preferred)
