An established fashion business, specialising in womenswear is looking for a young, passionate and hardworking individual to take on the role of a **CAD Artist **to work with our marketing & merchandising department.

**Desired Experience & Qualification**:

- National Diploma : Fashion OR Graphic Design
- Good communication / presentation & Trend research skills
- Excellent CAD design skills & proficient in software’s such as Lectra Kaledo & Adobe Illustrator.

**Duties & responsibilities**:

- Receiving brief sheets and translating brief requirements into CAD drawings according to customer specs to proceed to bulk production.
- Analysing sample requirements.
- Liaising with merchandisers regarding trims & fabric requirement.
- Creating TechPacks (CAD/Sample specification sheets)
- Sending sample request information to pattern & sample maker.
- Liaising with marketing team on new fashion trends (Colour / style / prints)
- Creating a repeat print & amending existing print designs & colours.
- Design & develop storyboards & presentations for marketing meetings.

**Job Type**: Graduate

Pay: R5 000,00 - R7 000,00 per month

Ability to commute/relocate:

- Durban, KwaZulu-Natal: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (preferred)

**Education**:

- Diploma (preferred)

**Experience**:

- CAD Design: 1 year (preferred)

**Language**:

- English (preferred)

License/Certification:

- SA Drivers License (preferred)

Willingness to travel:

- 25% (preferred)
