**Intermediate Phase Afrikaans Teacher Stage 4-9**

**Position overview**: We are looking for passionate, energetic and inspiring teachers who are Christian, fluent in Afrikaans and English, non-smokers and team players for our Grade 4-9 students. You will play a vital role in fostering students' passion for Afrikaans. You will include the Kinesthetic learning style in your lessons, stimulating curiosity and imagination in our learners. Training will be provided.
**Responsibilities**:
- Deliver engaging and creative lessons aligned with the school's curriculum framework
- Establish and maintain a positive classroom environment conducive to learning
- Evaluate student progress, provide timely feedback, and maintain accurate records of student performance which will be discussed during your training
- All other related teaching responsibilities
**Requirements**:
- A Bachelor degree in the Afrikaans related field or in Education is required
- A valid SACE teaching certification/license is essential
- Teaching experience
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English and Afrikaans
- Proficiency in integrating educational technology tools and resources
- Ability to commute to Noordheuwel, Krugersdorp
- A clear criminal record
- Contribute and adhere to the ethos of our School
- References supplied
- Cambridge Curriculum experience will be an advantage
**Contract type: Permanent or Flexi (salary negotiable)**
