We are seeking a skilled Instrument Mechanic to join our team in Germiston, Gauteng, South Africa. As an Instrument Mechanic, you will be responsible for the installation, maintenance, calibration, and repair of industrial instrumentation and control systems. Your duties will include troubleshooting, testing, and diagnosing faulty equipment and ensuring that all instrumentation and control systems meet regulatory compliance standards. You will also be responsible for maintaining accurate records of all maintenance and repair work.

**Responsibilities**:
Install, maintain, calibrate, and repair industrial instrumentation and control systems.

Troubleshoot and diagnose problems with instrumentation and control systems.

Test and evaluate equipment to determine the root cause of issues and recommend appropriate solutions.

Ensure that all instrumentation and control systems are in compliance with regulatory standards.

Maintain accurate records of maintenance and repair work.

Collaborate with other team members to ensure efficient and effective maintenance of all equipment.

Trade Test certification in Instrumentation or a related field.

5-10 years of experience in the installation, maintenance, calibration, and repair of industrial instrumentation and control systems.

Knowledge of PSV valves.

Proficient in calibration of instrumentation and control systems.

Ability to read and interpret technical diagrams and schematics.

Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Willingness to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
