Graphic Designer

**Junior Graphic Designer / Pre-press Assistant**

TopInc Print Imagination is an ever-evolving print and design company that specialises in producing high-quality print collateral for a range of customers from individuals and start-ups to small-to-medium businesses and beyond. We are looking to hire an enthusiastic Junior Graphic Designer / Pre-press Assistant who is eager to gain experience in the print industry and grow - both personally and professionally.

The position will be a 3-month contract with the possibility of being offered a full-time position thereafter.

**Requirements**:

- Must have good working knowledge of the Adobe InDesign, Illustrator and Photoshop programmes
- Must have at least 2 years of experience in the Graphic Design field and be familiar with designing for print
- Must be willing to learn various design/pre-press related techniques
- Must be able to execute day-to-day design/pre-press tasks
- Must have Social Media Marketing and branding experience
- Must enjoy conceptualising creative campaigns and designing/photographing images for social media
- Must know how to do basic photo-editing in Photoshop
- Must be proficient in Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, Excel and Outlook
- Must speak English fluently and have good written and telephonic business communication skills
- Must be detail-orientated
- Must be happy to work within a system of hierarchy, processes and protocols
- Must be PC literate (Mac literacy is a bonus)

**Technical advantages**:

- Graphic Design degree or a related qualification
- Pre-press experience
- Web Design / IT / UX / UI experience
- Wordpress CMS knowledge
- Illustration experience
- Photography / Advanced photo editing experience
- Copywriting experience
- Microsoft Teams and Sharepoint experience
- Is passionate about print and producing high-quality work
- Has good organisational and time-management skills

**Job Types**: Full-time, Internship

**Salary**: R7,500.00 - R10,000.00 per month
