**Position**: Kitchen staff for Durban Style Indian Fast Food Restaurant

**Location**: Sandton/Rivonia

Looking for staff with a passion for working in the food industry - for a busy Durban Indian cuisine restaurant.

**Remuneration Offer**: R6k - R10k depending on experience

**Job Requirements**:

- South African ID or Valid Work Permit is essential - PLEASE DO NOT APPLY IF YOU DON’T HAVE VALID DOCUMENTS.
- Must have at least 3 years experience in a restaurant kitchen.
- Must be able to operate gas stove, deep fryer and gas grill.
- Must have knowledge of food health and safety regulations.
- Must have reliable transport to Rivonia area in Sandton.
- Must be able to work double shifts and night shifts.
- Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment and under pressure.
- Must be a team player who supports and co-operates with other staff in the restaurant and kitchen.
- Must have good time management skills - punctuality and good attendance are vital.
- Must have good communication skills.

**Duties include but not limited to**:

- Ensure that food prep and cooking is done strictly to standards and recipes.
- Ensure consistency and quality of food and service.
- Ensure that all equipment/stock under your control is well managed.
- Maintain the tidiness and cleanliness of the kitchen at all times.
- Ensure strict hygiene controls are in place and are adhered to.
- Must have knowledge of health hazards in food preparation and service.
- Must be willing and able to assist with any other duties that may be outside scope of responsibility.

Pay: R6 000,00 - R10 000,00 per month
