**Preparation and Serving of Hot and Cold Beverages**:
- Skilfully prepare and serve a variety of beverages, including cappuccinos, coffees, and smoothies.
- Regularly inspect and maintain beverage equipment, ensuring it is in good working order.
- Follow Safe Working Procedures, especially when operating the coffee machine.
- Monitor ingredient availability and usage to prevent shortages.
- Provide prompt and friendly service to customers during beverage orders.
**Customer Service**:
- Extend a warm welcome to all customers (both internal and external).
- Efficiently take customer orders and relay them to the kitchen staff.
- Communicate menu item availability and any relevant feedback.
- Pack and present takeaway items neatly.
- Actively listen to customer requests, feedback, and complaints, forwarding relevant information to the appropriate personnel.
- Assist in setting up snacks and beverages for meetings, functions, or training sessions.
**Deli Counter, Sweets, and Snacks**:
- Maintain cleanliness and proper temperature settings at the Deli counter.
- Artfully display and serve Deli counter products.
- Weigh, pack, and prepare snacks such as nuts and biltong.
- Receive, unpack, and display sweets, chips, and soft drinks.
- Ensure availability of sweeteners, spices, and sauces for customer use.
**Process Payments**:
- Accurately record all customer purchases.
- Communicate the total amount due and process payments (including card and account transactions).
- National Senior Certificate (NQF 4) or equivalent.
- 1 years’ experience in food service, hospitality, or a similar role preferred.
- Excellent communication skills and a friendly demeanour.
- Attention to detail and commitment to cleanliness.
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
