**_Kitchen Manager Needed for Busy Restaurant in Constantia_**

**Synopsis**: Our client, a vibrant restaurant located in Constantia, is seeking a dedicated and experienced Kitchen Manager to lead their culinary team. If you have a passion for creating exceptional dishes and managing a high-volume kitchen, this could be the perfect opportunity for you.

As the Kitchen Manager, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our kitchen and delivering top-quality meals to our guests. Your responsibilities will include:

- Overseeing all aspects of kitchen operations, including food preparation, cooking, and plating.
- Managing inventory and ordering supplies to maintain stock levels and minimize waste.
- Recruiting, training, and supervising kitchen staff, including chefs, cooks, and kitchen assistants.
- Developing and implementing menus that meet customer preferences and budgetary requirements.
- Ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations and maintaining cleanliness and sanitation standards.
- Monitoring food costs and working with management to optimize profitability.
- Handling any kitchen-related issues or emergencies that may arise.

**Minimum Requirements**:

- Proven experience as a Kitchen Manager or Head Chef in a busy restaurant environment.
- Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire your team.
- Excellent culinary skills and a creative approach to menu development.
- Knowledge of food safety and sanitation regulations.
- Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple tasks efficiently.
- Must have own transport for commuting to and from work.
- Availability to start as soon as possible.

**Salary: R12,000 - R16,000 per month**
