- WHAT YOU WILL DOThe main purpose of the Executive Personal Assistant & Finance Specialist is to provide a professional service to the Chief Financial Officer and the Finance team.
You will engage with the following stakeholders:
- Executive Management
- Senior Management
- Board of Directors
- Regulatory bodies
**Key responsibilities include**:
- Keep the CFO updated on all matters
- Maintain appointment schedule for the CFO by planning and scheduling meetings and conferences
- Determine accounting errors or discrepancies and suggest necessary corrective action
- Research and correspondence - reading, researching, routing correspondence, drafting letters, collecting and analysing documents
- Ensure documents are properly authorised in accordance with levels of authority
- Assist with report preparation
- Client relations - welcome internal and external clients with the appropriate etiquette
- Manage department administrative functions such as training reservations, expense claims, diary management, travel reservations and filing
- Ensure finance team comply with business requirements in terms of performance contribution plan submissions, skills development requirements, leave, overtime and telephone usage
- Assist in managing the onboarding of new Finance employees
**QUALIFICATIONS / KNOWLEDGE**
- Matric
- Appropriate tertiary qualification
- Microsoft Office 365
**EXPERIENCE**
- At least 3 years Executive Assistant experience
- Finance experience will be advantage
