As a Relationship Manager, you will be responsible for fostering strong relationships with clients, understanding their needs, and ensuring the successful execution of events and brand activations. Your role will involve collaborating with internal teams to deliver exceptional experiences that align with clients' objectives and enhance their brand visibility. You will serve as the primary point of contact for clients, providing personalized support, addressing inquiries, and managing expectations throughout the project lifecycle. Additionally, you will proactively identify opportunities for growth, driving sales, overseeing account management, upselling services, managing budgets for various projects, and maintain a deep understanding of industry trends to drive continuous improvement and innovation.

**Key Responsibilities**

1. Client Engagement and Relationship Management
- Develop and maintain strong, long-lasting relationships with clients, serving as the primary point of contact for all inquiries, concerns, and requests.
- Conduct regular meetings and communications with clients to understand their business needs, preferences, and goals.
- Proactively identify opportunities to upsell additional services and expand existing partnerships to drive revenue growth.

2. Sales and Business Development
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities, according to quarterly sales targets, within the events and brand activations space, including prospecting, lead generation, and networking.
- Develop customised proposals, presentations, and pitches, in collaboration with the creative and campaign planning teams, to showcase our services and solutions, effectively articulating the value proposition to potential clients.
- Negotiate contracts, pricing agreements, and service-level agreements to ensure profitable and mutually beneficial partnerships.

3. Account Management
- Oversee the end-to-end management of client accounts, from onboarding and project kick-off to post-event evaluations and follow-up.
- Collaborate with internal teams, including creative, production, campaign planning and supply-chain, to develop and execute project plans that meet clients' objectives while adhering to timelines and budgets.
- Monitor project progress, resolve issues, and mitigate risks to ensure the successful delivery of events and brand activations.

4. Budget Management
- Develop and manage project budgets, ensuring accuracy, profitability, and adherence to financial targets.
- Track expenses, forecast revenues, and identify opportunities to optimize costs and maximize profitability.
- Provide regular budget updates and financial reports to clients, highlighting variances and recommending adjustments as needed.

5. Strategic Planning and Analysis
- Conduct market research, competitive analysis, and industry trends analysis to identify growth opportunities and inform strategic decision-making.
- Develop strategic plans and initiatives to enhance client satisfaction, retention, and overall business performance.
- Analyse sales data, client feedback, and project outcomes to evaluate performance, identify areas for improvement, and drive continuous innovation.

**Required Skills**:

- Proven experience in client relationship management, sales, and account management, preferably within the events, experiential marketing, or advertising industry.
- Strong financial acumen, with experience in budget management, forecasting, and financial analysis.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to build rapport, influence key stakeholders, and close deals.
- Strategic thinking and problem-solving abilities, with a focus on driving results and exceeding sales targets.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, and project management tools.
- Ability to prioritize tasks and work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Flexibility to travel as needed and work non-traditional hours during event activations.
- A passion for creativity, innovation, and delivering memorable brand experiences.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- A proactive attitude and a willingness to learn and adapt.
- A valid South African driving license and own transport is required.

Pay: R20 000,00 - R25 000,00 per month
