To perform this role successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.
- Identifying vulnerabilities in our current network. Ensuring Information Security best practices are implemented and adhered to.
- Developing and implementing a comprehensive plan to secure our computing network.
- Monitoring network usage to ensure compliance with security policies. Collaborate with the Scania Risk and Governance department.
- Keeping up to date with developments in IT security standards and threats.
- Performing penetration tests to find any flaws. Documenting any security breaches and assessing their damage
- Collaborating with management and the IT department to improve security.
- Educating colleagues about security software and best practices for information security.

**Education and Experience**:

- Degree in computer science or a technology-related field. Professional information security certification. IE. CISSP
- 3 to 5 years’ experience in an information security role.
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Solid knowledge of various information security frameworks. Effective verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to educate a non-technical audience about various security measures.

**Knowledge, Skills and Abilities**:

- ITIL knowledge & Good communication skills and ability to communicate with users as well as IT personnel
- Good knowledge of English and Fluent in market language
- Helpful and service-minded and Ability to travel without limitations. Ability to listen, general requirements
- Valid driver’s license and own car. Ability to work on weekends and public holidays.
