**Join a leading Water and Chemical treatment company headquartered in Randfontein (Gauteng) as a Factory Manager in a full-time role, involving occasional work outside normal business hours. Responsibilities include preparing and attending management meetings, participating in conferences, ensuring timely filing of reports and correspondence, conducting regular electronic file backups, maintaining strict confidentiality, assuming responsibility for specific accounts and systems as directed by management, and adhering to Safety, Health, Environment, and Quality requirements and legislation.**

**Requirements**:

- BEng Chemical Engineering or BSc Chemical Engineering
- 3 to 5 years working experience in the chemical industry.
- Valid ID
- Valid license
- No criminal record
- Proficiency in MS Office
- Problem-solving abilities

**Duties**:
**Daily Duties**:

- Factory is opened and tasks allocated to the production staff.
- Production commences, according to schedule.
- All deliveries and goods to be received are scheduled for the day.
- Capture all produced and used stock electronically.
- Make allowances for shortfall in raw materials are available for following days.

- Fill out attendance register.
- Ensure all equipment is checked and faulty equipment reported.

**Weekly Duties**:

- Plan the production schedule for the following week.
- Plan the logistics for the following week.
- Ensure that raw materials are available for following weeks production.
- Have safety meetings every Friday, with signed attendance register.
- Check that the weeks production is stored in a safe orderly manner and the warehouse and grounds cleaned.

**Monthly Duties**:

- Generate an electronic report on months production figures.
- Complete following months production planning according to sales forecast figures
- Liase with Technical Manager to ensure that enough raw materials are available for production.
- Prepare a delivery schedule for the new month, in conjunction with the Sales Manager’s needs.
- Monthly meeting with Technical Manager regarding staff and production issues.

**Additional Duties**:

- Ensure all SOP’s for the factory is in place.
- Ensure that all safety KPI’s are met including inspections, PTO and VFL
- Answering all chemical questions from the operational team and queries with regards

to the chemicals
- Proper management of chemical contractor
- Proper management of logistics contractor
- Cost saving incentives.
- Check all the chemical forecast vs actual consumption and engage with the Mangers to ensure accurate forecasting.

**General Duties**:

- Be prepared to work outside of normal business hours from time to time.
- Prepare information and attend meetings required by management.
- Attend and participate in conferences whenever and wherever required.
- Ensure that copies of all reports and correspondence generated by you in the course of your duty are filed electronically or as hardcopies.
- Do regular (at least 2 weekly) back-ups of your electronic files.
- Maintain confidentiality of all information you may acquire or be given.
- Be prepared to assume responsibility for specific accounts and systems as requested by management.
- Adhere to all SHEQ requirements and legislation.
