The job holder will be situated at our branch in Vereeniging, Gauteng.
**Overall Responsibility**:
Ensure the effective sale and marketing of meat, as well as meat-related products, and assist in dispatching all orders.
**Roles and Responsibilities**:
The Tele-sales and Dispatch Clerk will be responsible for, including, but not limited to:
- Sell meat and meat-related products to the company’s customers.
- Service existing accounts, obtains orders, and establishes new accounts.
- Submit sale orders.
- Perform basic debitor duties to process sales and accounts.
- Assist with co-ordinating the movement and transportation of meat products.
- Assist with organising the dispatch of goods, monitoring incoming and outgoing shipments, examining shipment documents, billing customers, and communicating transportation information clearly.
- Plan and prepare for all dispatch and sales tasks.
- Monitor and assist in dispatching the company’s fleet and ensure that all trucks leave on time.
- Supervise, monitor, assist and manage all staff members within the department.
- Handle workplace conflict and ensure a harmonious workplace.
- Assist with maintaining discipline in the workplace.
**Minimum Requirements**:
- You must be in possession of a National Grade 12 Senior Certificate or Equivalent
- You must have at least 3 years of experience in a sales or similar role, ideally within the Food Manufacturing or Agricultural Industry.
- You must have a proven track record for successful sales and developing client relationships, ideally when it comes to selling meat and meat-related products.
- You must be detail-oriented and be able to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
- You must be a team player, but also able to work independently.
- You must display a high degree of problem-solving and critical thinking ability.
- You must be self-motivated and self-confident.
- You must be a quick learner and willing to learn.
- You must be tough-skinned and resilient.
- You must be computer literate.

**Education**:
- High School (matric) (preferred)
**Experience**:
- Marketing and sales: 3 years (preferred)
**Language**:
- English (preferred)
- Afrikaans (preferred)
- any other African languages (preferred)
License/Certification:
- drivers licence (preferred)
