To be responsible for supporting initiatives driving results measured by lower material costs, more responsive supplier performance, process and service improvements and productivity throughout the supply chain

Outputs / Responsibilities:
Maintain raw material database within MRP system for accuracy of pricing and specifications;
- Maintain and follow purchasing procedures to conform to ISO standards.
- This includes thorough analysis of potential suppliers and annual review of existing suppliers reviewing costs, quality, delivery and other pertinent factors;
- Input requisitions based on MRP & manual requirements for both inventory & non-stock into Syspro and follow through

approval;
- Ensure POs are placed timely and correctly;
- Ensure that goods and services are acquired in a timely manner.
- Identify alternative suppliers to fill present and future needs;
- Expedite outstanding orders to ensure timely deliveries;
- Maintain Syspro accurately to reflect correct information;
- Minimize the cost of products and services which meet our needs, and establish strong vendor relationships;
- Good forecast analysis;
- Overseas purchasing knowledge;
- Good understanding of BBBEE;
- Deal with queries efficiently;
- Support other departments that require assistance;
- Maintain & build good relationships with suppliers;
Minimum Qualification Required

1. Matric

2. Tertiary qualification in Procurement or Supply Chain would be an advantage

**Experience**:

- 2 - 3 years experience in procurement;
- 2 - 3 years experience in the Electronics/Appliance business;
- 2 - 3 years experience in MRP;
- Syspro will be an advantage
- Highly computer literate (Microsoft Office Package);
- Be able to comply with legislation, regulations standards, codes of practices and established safe practices and procedures.
