**This role requires the following from the successful person**:

- Exhibit comprehensive product knowledge to identify and provide effective technical solutions.
- Achieve yearly sales budgets through strategic planning and execution.
- Sell analytical and explosion-proof solutions within a designated geographic area.
- Collaborate with management to develop and present yearly budgets.
- Engage at a high level with principles to ensure successful partnerships.
- Prepare and deliver product presentations to clients.
- Submit detailed weekly call reports to provide insights into sales activities.
- Attend and actively contribute to weekly sales meetings.
- Establish and maintain strong relationships with staff, clients, and principles.
- Proactively identify and pursue new sales opportunities.

**The level of authority for this role includes**:

- Responsibility for achieving a high level of successful sales activity.
- Accountability for meeting the total analytical yearly budget at the required gross profit margin.
- Authority to provide technical solutions that enhance client business performance.
- Authorized to sign documents within specified limits defined by the company.
- Authorized to compile tender submissions to meet client needs.

**The following are the requirements for the role**:

- Analytical or Chemistry qualification.
- Exposure to in-line analyzers, in-situ analyzers, and Explosion-Proof equipment used in industrial plants.
- Familiarity with Mining Analytics.
- Knowledge of Torque, CO2 testing in the bottling industry.
- Proven sales track record, with a minimum of 5 years of experience in field sales within Industrial Automation, Instrumentation, Analytical, or Process Control.
- Knowledgeable in industrial automation, instrumentation, or process control, with experience in selling solutions.
- Working knowledge of the Microsoft Office suite.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
- Client-driven and customer-focused mindset.
- Sales or plant experience in analytical instrumentation, dust measurement, gas and water analyzers, and torque equipment.
