Our client in the fruit export industry is looking for a pack line manager in Piketberg.
Duties
As part of the packing management team the pack line manager will oversee a shift with the following responsibilities:
- Packaging planning and scheduling
- Ensuring optimal pack-out| percentages
- Quality control and food safety
- Team building, motivation, and management
- Time and production management
Minimum Requirements
- Grade 12, with a relevant tertiary qualification (e.g., B.Agric / BTech process engineering/ Food technology or technical qualification)
- 5 years’ experience in a similar role
- Computer literacy (MS Office)
- Willing to work irregular / night shift and long hours (as required in the packing industry)

- Background in fruit packing (citrus and/or table grapes)
- Background in a fruit pack house
- Production focus and technical aptitude
- Management potential
- Planning and organising skills
- Good communication skills
