**Diagnostic Motor Vehicle Technician**

Our client in the Helderberg region is currently seeking to employ a qualified Diagnostic Motor Vehicle Technician.

You will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and servicing vehicles and vehicle systems.

**Minimum Requirements**
- Minimum Grade 12
- Qualified Motor Vehicle Technician (Red Seal)
- Motor Dealership Experience (diagnostic/technical) _- Premium Brand would be a distinct advantage_
- Minimum 5 years’ experience after Red Seal qualification
- Experience/Formal qualification in High Voltage work, would be advantageous.
- Own transport

**Duties and Responsibilities**
- Complete repair and service orders efficiently and timeously within the allocated time
- Achieve workshop labour targets by working efficiently and upselling where possible
- Thoroughly diagnosing customer problems, providing appropriate solutions and communicating these effectively
- Ensure parts are ordered timeously, and booked out to Job Cards to enable timeous repair completion
- To ensure workstations/equipment/tools and all vehicles are kept neat, clean and tidy and treated with care
- To keep informed on the changes in technology by attending training, reading bulletins and acquiring the knowledge to serve customers’ needs
- To support the Service Manager and Foreman with tasks that are beneficial to the company
- Manage adherence to all Dealership business processes and promote ongoing continuous improvements
- Responsible for full vehicle diagnoses
- Ensure all job cards are updated accurately
- Responsible for (technical / non-technical assistance) to junior workshop staff
- Maintain good housekeeping
- Attend Technical Brand training
