Creditors Clerk

**Creditors Clerk (Retail Store) - Spar SaveMor Marina in Kraaifontein**

Spar SaveMor in Marina is looking for a analytic and enthusiastic **Creditors Clerk** to assist our Finance and Admin team at **Spar SaveMor Marina** in **Kraaifontein, Cape Town.** The position will report to the **Administration Manager**.

**Responsibilities**:

- Process invoices from suppliers accurately and efficiently.
- Match purchase orders with invoices to ensure accuracy and completeness of documentation.
- Verify and reconcile invoices with purchase orders and delivery notes.
- Communicate with suppliers regarding invoice discrepancies and resolve any issues in a timely manner.
- Prepare and process payment runs, ensuring adherence to payment terms and company policies.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of accounts payable transactions.
- Assist in month-end closing procedures, including reconciliations and reporting.
- Provide administrative support to the finance department as needed.
- Assist with ad-hoc projects and tasks assigned by the Administration Manager or Group Accountant.
- You will be responsible for the creditors of 6 stores across the Western Cape and 1 in the Northern Cape.

**Requirements**:

- Matric or equivalent qualification.
- Previous experience in a finance or accounting role is preferred
- Knowledge and experience working with GRV and SIGMA would be advantageous
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data entry.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Good communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Willingness to learn and adapt to new processes and systems.
- Basic understanding of accounting principles.
- Own transport and valid driver’s license are required.
