**Minimum Requirements***:

- A Doctoral degree in Entomology or an associated field.
- Teaching experience at a tertiary institute.
- Research experience supported by either a publication record in DHET-accredited journals, a successful postgraduate supervision record or successful research funding.

**Added Advantage**:

- NRF rating

**Duties**:

- Teach undergraduate and honours courses in Entomology and any other courses assigned to you by the Head of Department.
- Participate in regular recurriculation of modules or programme reviews.
- Develop research within the areas of entomology or associated fields.
- Attract research funding.
- Supervise BSc Honours, MSc and PhD students.
- Participate in community engagement.
- Any other responsibilities assigned by the Head of Department.
