**Job Description**:

- Key metrics include supplier competitiveness, material variance to budget and cost improvement projects.
- Contract negotiations and reviews.
- Annual cost negotiations to achieve cost reductions targets.
- Achieve local content targets.
- Achieve BBBEE targets.
- Develop measures that will result in component specific material cost reduction (RPP).
- Perform duties in line with the purchasing procedures, ensuring adherence to internal/external auditing processes.
- Supplier management and knowledge of systems and continuous improvement initiatives at suppliers.
- Maintain an auditable document trial as per Procedures and Manuals relevant to purchasing in the BPM Compass.
- Maintain component records in SAP.
- Interface with suppliers as Robert Bosch’s Purchasing representative.
- Purchase of complete or semi-finished components.
- Ensure acceptable levels of material cost whilst not sacrificing quality.

**Qualifications**:

- National Diploma or Degree in Cost Accounting.

**Experience**
- Component procurement in Automotive Industry +-3 years’ experience.
- Basic understanding of Contract Law.
- Technical background in Automotive Industry.
- Proficiency in SAP system.
- Microsoft office.
