**Position: HSE Manager**
**Location: Olifantsfontein**
**Role Summary**
**The HSE Manager **need to lead the SHEQ Team in providing a totally integrated SHEQ function to the site and to influence Site Management to embed a culture of SHEQ excellence.
**Requirements / Skills / Characteristics**
**Diploma Safety Management essential**
At least 10 years’ experience in Safety Management
Knowledge of work-related hazards and associated risks
understanding of human behavior and the impact of cultural differences on human behavior
Knowledge of plant processes standards and procedures (including HR policies) knowledge of relevant safety legislation, i.e. Mine Health and Safety Act, Occupational Health and Safety Act and COID Act
International Standards (ISO), i.e. OHSAS45001, ISO9001, ISO14001
Computer literacy and presentation skills
Facilitation, report writing and auditing skills
How to conduct a root cause / fault tree analysis (investigation skills)
Verbal and written communication skills (internal and external)
**Salary**: R1 080 000 annual
