**Missions and Responsibilities**
The ALLISA - Foreman Instrumentation-TAR will perform the following:
**Business/Technical. **Plan, control and manage the turnaround maintenance activities and ensure effective execution of the program including spares management.

**Cost Management. **Manage and control costs of the TAR within the allocated budget.

**Safety (SHERQ).** Ensure adherence to SHERQ legal standards (ISO 9001, ISO 14001 and OSHAS 18001) and implement SHERQ processes for their own area of responsibility. Evaluate abnormalities during emergency situations, and take corrective action to avoid downtime, equipment damage and/or SHERQ incidents. Conduct Task Risk Assessments and ensure that the team conducts Task Risk Assessments (where applicable).

**Stakeholder Relations.** Ensure sound stakeholder relationship management by influencing decisions and actions of stakeholders in other departments/disciplines by providing relevant technical input. Facilitate effective communication up and down from management and also within own and other stakeholder teams.

**People Management and Leadership.** Take the lead in team efforts and tasks. Live ALLISA’s values and ensure compliance of the team members to the ALLISA values Manage performance of own team members. Ensure sensitisation to diversity in the workplace. Ensures team motivation and team wellness. Contribute to the development of team members as part of their personal development plans (PDP’s) for career progression/ advancement. Provide ongoing mentoring and coaching for team members.

Grade 12 with Maths, Science, English
NQF 4 Occupational Trade Qualification OR Red Seal Trade test in measurements,control and instrumentation.
Any further education in Industrial automation or National Diploma (advantageous)
A minimum of ten(10) years relevant experience as a Maintenance Artisan
Years of experience necessary will depend on the complexity of the work area and technology
High level of Turnaround/G.O experience within heavy industry required
Adequate experience in inventory management (especially critical valve studies) required.

Located in Secunda, on-site working conditions.
High level operations - must be able to work at heights
Willing to work overtime, when required
Will be required to perform standby duties
