This is an excellent opportunity to join a market leading company selling an Orthopaedic Recon and Trauma product portfolio.

The role holder will have responsibility for sales performance and achievement of targets for the Orthopaedic business across Southern Region of Ireland - Munster.

Key Responsibilities:
Profitably sell the Business Units product portfolio so that the product group and overall territory sales targets are achieved.

Acquire, maintain and keep up-to-date and in-depth knowledge of the territory, including information on current customers, business potential, purchasing protocols, competitor activity and market trends.

Report monthly on sales activity, business prospects and competitor activity, and at least on a quarterly basis on sales performance, territory business plan and market trends.

Management of the Company's assets within the territory, in particular, loan and consignment inventory, to ensure, a profitable return on investment.

Continuously assess the territory and market to identify new business opportunities with existing customers and opportunities to add to the customer base.

Follow up of all sales leads, customer enquiries and requests for assistance to ensure sales opportunities are maximised and the customer is provided with a first class support service.

High level of customer focus and customer service.

Willingness to travel internationally to manufacturer training programmes etc., and for clinical meetings as required.

On call requirements due out of hours and weekends maybe necessary due to the nature of the role.

The Client markets and sells a broad range of own and third-party medical device and pharmaceutical products in areas such as wound care, GI, urology, procedure packs, critical care (anaesthesia, endovascular, cardiology, and IV access), diagnostics, maxilla-facial implants, cardio-thoracic and neurology.
