Software Development Manager

Location: Cape Town, Johannesburg, or Remote
- A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field.
- Minimum of 10 years of experience in software development, with at least 5 years in a management role.
- Strong technical background in software development, including experience with modern software development practices, tools, and languages.
- Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate team members to achieve their full potential.
- Proven experience managing complex software projects and delivering high-quality products on time and within budget.
- Experience working in an agile development environment.
- Passion for building innovative products and solving complex technical challenges.
**Responsibilities**:
- Manage a team of software developers and provide leadership, guidance, and mentorship to ensure that projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and prioritize new features and enhancements to our products.
- Develop and execute project plans, including resource allocation, scheduling, and risk management.
- Foster a culture of continuous improvement, encouraging team members to experiment with new technologies and processes to improve product quality and delivery speed.
- Work closely with stakeholders to understand their needs and ensure that our products meet or exceed their expectations.
- Manage relationships with third-party vendors and contractors as needed.
**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent
**Salary**: R80,000.00 - R120,000.00 per month
