- Hybrid work (rotation work between Sandton office and remotely from home).
- Will include regular travelling to various sites which might include 1 week per month to be spend in either Limpopo, Mpumalanga, KwaZulu Natal, North-West or Northern Cape.
- Start immediately (preferred) or as soon as possible.
- Must have 8 years minimum Enterprise Architecture experience (preferably within mining/engineering sector).
- Rate per hour negotiable.
- Must have own laptop, valid drivers license and own car.
- Clean ITC/credit record and no criminal record.***

**Requirements**:

- Matric plus relevant IT Degree/Diploma. MBA (advantage).
- 8 years minimum work experience required as an Enterprise Architect.
- Project management experience required.
- TOGAF training / relevant Architecture framework training/certification.
- Knowledge and experience with Architectural Frameworks such as TOGAF, ITIL and COBIT required.
- Work experience with IT and OT (Operational Technology) and ERP systems in mining or engineering environment preferred.
- Knowledge of underlying IT architectures and technologies (Business Architecture, Application Architectures, Data Architectures, Technical Architectures etc.)

**Main job function**:
Recruiting an IT Enterprise Architect who will be responsible for managing and driving/implementing the architecture process (which has already been defined) across 6 different sites in different locations.

**Duties**:

- Oversee and guide the architecture process across various sites.
- Ensure the architecture of the enterprise is optimized, and all Architecture Domains (Business Architecture, Data Architecture, Application architecture, Technology Architecture) integrate (and inter-operate) in a cost-effective manner, with minimum effort and maximum benefit to the organization.
- Manage project timelines, resources, and budgets to ensure successful delivery of solutions.
- Utilize project management methodologies to manage risks, identify opportunities, and ensure project success.
- Provide oversight for architect-related functions across multiple projects.
- Drive and facilitate workshops and enabling technology solutions.
- Share best practices, lessons and constantly update the technical system architecture requirements based on changing technologies, and knowledge related to recent, current and up-coming vendor products and solutions.
- Collaborate with all relevant parties to review the objectives and constraints of each solution and determine conformance with the industry practices.
- Contribute to the ICT strategy in terms of Business, Data/Information, Applications, Technology Infrastructure Integration and Security.
- Lead technical design sessions with the development teams, including the creation of class models, component models, and detailed design specifications to ensure architecture standards are followed.
- Recommend and participate in the analysis, evaluation, and development of enterprise long-term strategic and operating plans to ensure that Enterprise Architecture objectives are consistent with the organizations long-term business objectives.
- Define technical evaluation criteria for product and technology selection and determine technical approaches to ensure all architectural solutions result in a coherent system design leading to desired customer experiences.
