Hotel Group based in the V&A Waterfront is currently looking for a Brand Manger to support the Head of Marketing in the day to day running and management of the portfolio. As the Brand Manager, you will be responsible for developing and implementing brand strategies that enhance our company's reputation and drive brand awareness. This position play’s a critical role in maintaining and elevating our brand image across all touchpoints.
- Develop brand strategy for group and for each of its individual properties.
- Developing, implementing, and monitoring brand standards and usage guidelines in conjunction with Head of Marketing, to make sure there is consistency across all marketing channels.
- Consistently monitoring brand identity
- Compiling a brand positioning and road map, ensuring that all stakeholders and marketing team adhere and deliver on this.
- In collaboration with the Head of Marketing compile brand campaigns, ensuring all deadlines are adhered to.
- Measure and report on marketing and campaign results
- Oversee the Graphic designers and copy writing to ensure that the team members are working optimally and to the best of their ability to produce the required outcomes for the company.
- Develop annual marketing calendar incorporating events, occasional campaigns etc.
- Work very closely with the in-house marketing team, social media coordinators and designers on the briefing in of campaigns, all creative and copy right down to final approval etc.
- Ensure all stakeholders are delivering to the marketing calendar (marketing team and design)
- Maintain and develop relationships with brand influencers and ambassadors.
- Drive brand equity and ensure consistency across all brand touch points.
- Previous experience with hotels, lodges, and resorts advantageous

**Requirements**:

- 5-8 years in a Brand Manager or Marketing role.
- Relevant technical expertise in Marketing and Brand Building
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
- Experience with managing a team
- Accurate with high attention to detail, analytical skills and critical thinking ability to identify potential issues.
- Strong data management and multitasking ability to manage high volumes of work in a fast-paced work environment.
- Ability to withstand pressure and meet deadlines within a specified timeframe.
- Ability to work independently as well as within multiple teams
- Excellent written communication skills
- Excellent attention to detail
- Excellent Planning and Organisational skills
- Strong proof reading and copywriting skills
