PLC and Robotic Trainer

**ABOUT THE OPPORTUNITY**:
- Deliver PLC and robotic training to all Maintenance employees from a simulated area and technology training cell, as well as line side programmes.
- Knowledge of the operation, control circuits and equipment within a modern automation environment
- Trouble shooting with Maintenance team/ Engineers, to analyse and correct any deviation of machine performance from the manufacturers/ operational specifications especially in terms of PLC modifications and robotic programming (Welding/ sealing/ Handling/ Toxing/ Hemming etc)
- Keep abreast of latest plant machinery and equipment to the latest engineering technology and ensure that employees stay abreast of new technology - expert knowledge of PLC’s/ robotics for fault finding and system design.
- Developing standard and customised training content and material, including technical/digital content
- Facilitating technical or functional learning/ training interventions using a variety of methodologies, for a varied target audience.
- Designing integrated assessments/ evaluations for learning program’s to assess program effectiveness and impact.
- Guiding and supporting learners by identifying learners needs, analyzing problems, providing advice and support to learners, evaluating performance - to ensure that learners obtain the necessary skills, qualifications and competencies.
- Providing critical line support training for key projects, new model introductions, engineering changes, engineering processes which includes new technologies and automation.
- Application, training and support of the production System process/ lean thinking implementation.
- Analysing need, preparing training frameworks and solutions that support business requirements.**REQUIREMENTS**:
- **A relevant 3 year degree/ diploma in the engineering fields, preferably Electrical/ Mechatronics**:
- **3 - 5 years of relevant industry **experience ideally in the automotive /engineering industry ideally with training and development experience
- Have certified training in PLC’s (controlled systems environment), robotics and drives (KRC2, KRC4 and Electrical Servicing certification)
- Have the ability to train others and transfer knowledge and skills effectively to a wide range audience.
- Strong interpersonal skills, facilitation and presentation skills
- Display strong initiative, be a team player whilst being able to work independently on projects.
- Must have good business acumen, whilst being methodical, organized and thorough,.
- Technical Analysis and problem solving skills
- PC Literacy at advanced level (MS - Powerpoint/ Excel/ Word)
- IT skills ( basic programming/coding language skills to support VR/ Augmented reality module development) would be advantageous
- Programme development, training, coaching and assessment skills advantageous

License/Certification:
